Taylormade MES Ltd carried out the refurbishment of the main boiler plant and heating throughout the main school during the school summer holidays of 2011. Taylormade assumed the role of main contractor on this project for Cambridgeshire County Council. Designed by Building Services Design the project involved the complete replacement of boilers, pumps, pressurization units, hot water plant, controls and ancillary pipework within the central boiler house.
Additional to the plantroom, refurbishment of the heating system within the main school was also carried out involving new unipipe heating pipework, low surface temperature radiators and fan convectors along with all builders work required.
All works were completed and handed over to the client within 6 weeks before the students returned for the new term.
“Dear Jon
I just wanted to extend my thanks and those of the governors for the excellent job that your team did for us in replacing the heating over the summer holidays. We were highly impressed with the quality of the work, the approach which always gave care and consideration to the least intrusive way of working whilst on site, as well as the politeness and professionalism of the workers on site.
They are a great bunch and we will certainly use them again if needed, as well as making recommendations to others.
Please pass our thanks on to the team.
Best wishes.
Kate”
