The William Cecil Hotel

The William Cecil Hotel which lies within the magnificent Burghley Estate re-opened in July 2011 after an extensive refurbishment.
Working in partnership with Burghley Estates & Hilbrooke hotels Taylormade MES Ltd was contracted to design and renew all mechanical and plumbing services to this 27 bedroom hotel.
The old basement boiler room was reutilized as a cold water storage tank room with one of the attached outbuildings forming the new boiler room. The new installation consisted of heating throughout the building provided by radiators, new cold water booster plant and hot water generators serving newly installed sanitary ware to 27 en suite bathrooms and public toilets. Extract ventilation was also provided to each en suite and public toilet areas.
